Spocktober!

The month has almost got away from me! I can't believe I am just now posting about it. It's not logical, captain. All I can say is that my month of increasing power has been SO powerful that it has kept me very busy and away from my blogs.

So what does October have to do with Spock? Maybe nothing, other than it's a convenient mashup of two similar sounding proper nouns and lots of fun to say.  And it's really caught on, giving rise to festivals and fan events and merchandise and even Spock-themed Oktoberfests. I can dig it. Here are two things in the world that I dearly love, so why not enjoy them both at the same time? It's like peanut butter and chocolate, two great things that go great together.

Alas, I am running out of time to give Spocktober its proper due in 2026, so I might need to put a pin in it and save it as a goal for next year. Watch this space. And watch outer space as depicted on Star Trek. But then watch this space.
