Resurrected Post from 2011 ---When Life Was Busy & Nuts!

This is the time of year I go crazy. The end of school year stuff is completely maddening. How will I keep track of it all? There are meetings, concerts, events, forms to turn in, payments due. Foodstuffs to bring. A costume to make. And somewhere in there the kids' birthdays. I am writing down all the stuff I have to remember. So this is a very boring blog post. But this is my life right now:

Tonight:  
Meeting of Committee for planning 6th grade breakfast and graduation
Tomorrow:  
Make sure Annabelle wears her Just Say No t-shirt to school for the Just Say No lunch.
Friday, April 22: 
Take enough baked beans for 50 people to the Staff Appreciation Lunch
Chaperone the Foos Ball room at the 6th grade mixer from 7:00 to 8:30 and take two bags of chips
Turn in Girl Scout camping registration for summer camp in June with payment. NO LATE REGISTRATIONS ACCEPTED!
Saturday, April 23rd:  
Soccer game
Tuesday, April 26: 
Sister and mom might be back in town
Shawnee Mission East Strings Festival at 7:00 pm. Have Annabelle's concert clothes clean.
Thursday, April 28:
East area Band Festival at 7:00 pm. Make sure Lilah has clean concert clothes.
Friday, April 29:
Girl Scout camping trip. Must have all camping gear ready to go.
Saturday, April 30:
soccer game
Tomahawk choir performance in the morning AND Strings R & D forum AND/OR return to
Girl Scout campground
Wednesday, May 4th: 
Music concert in gym at 7:00 pm. Not sure if that's Lilah or Annabelle.
Thursday, May 5th:
Mission Valley farewell night from 5:30 to 8:00 because idiots are closing the school.
Friday, May 6th:
Tomahawk school Carnival from 5:30 to 9:00. Help with Nacho booth and help clean up after carnival.
Take baked goods for Girl Scout cakewalk at carnival.
Saturday, May 7th:
Soccer game
Monday, May 9th:
Annabelle has 6th grade Olympics. Make sure we have stuff for her sack lunch.
Wednesday, May 11th:
  Shawnee Mission East Physical Night for incoming Freshman.
Thursday, May 12th:
6th grade musical at 7:00 pm. Annabelle needs costume.
At same time ---Honors and Awards event where Lilah is receiving awards, at 6:30 in middle school gym.  
Saturday, May 14th:
Soccer banquet AND wedding of friend with wedding doins scheduled all day long
Sunday, May 15th
Make-up soccer game
Tuesday, May 17th:
Middle School Spring Concert at 7:00 with band, choir and strings.
Thursday, May 19th:  
Tomahawk Spring Concert with band, choir and strings
Friday, May 20th:
Lilah's birthday
Wednesday, May 25th:
Annabelle's birthday
Thursday, May 26th:
Take breakfast casserole to 6th grade breakfast
Attend 6th grade breakfast and graduation
School Skate party from 4:00 to 6:00.

NOTE:  I wrote this in 2011 and now that my two daughters Lilah and Annabelle are grown, it's fun to look back on the wild ride of their school years. But I never actually published this post until now. Back then I might have thought it too dull, or too complaining. More likely, I just never found the time!
