It's happening again. Is someone messing with me? Out on a morning walk, I encountered random egg shells in an unlikely spot, just as I had back in November, as described in my post Strange Egg Anomaly. But this time it was two eggs. Both of them oddly resting together at the edge of a lawn, near the curb. Their placement was too neat and aligned, as if some hand had set them there deliberately.
Why????? Whatever could it mean???
A mystery, indeed! My only thought is that it could have been left by a migrating bird that had miscalculated the timing, was being left behind by her flock and had to make the decision to toss ballast overboard in order to keep up. Of course, this only makes sense if this road runs North/South. (this theory is akin to the question; "What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow")
